Meet Our Team
Some clients are professional athletes who want to improve their performance. Another client may be a mom or grandparent who wants to address chronic pain or improve range of motion so they can keep tying their shoes. Keeping people doing what they want to do, and improving their quality of life is what motivates me to do what I do.” says Kim. Together, this team will add physical, mental, and professional developmet services to the community!
Kim - Founder of Muscular Connections
Kim Brody has a long history of helping clients rehab injuries, reduce the risk of injury, and enhance performance. The journey began by earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 1994 and 1997. Her work started in cardiac rehabilitation, but quickly shifted to corporate wellness and personal training.
Kim’s educational pursuits did not stop there. Attending personal training conventions and furthering her biomechanics knowledge through the Resistance Training Specialists courses continued to fuel her desire to help improve her clients’ lives.
But when Kim was introduced to Muscle Activation Techniques, or MAT, and met founder Greg Roskopf, she was immediately hooked. With a career already dedicated to helping clients perform and live at their best, this new discipline seemed a perfect match for what Kim cares about most. She has continued to progress through the highest level of MAT certifications, becoming MATRx certified in 2017.
Kim works with everyone from professional athletes to couch potatoes, small children to 90+ year olds. She helps keep people doing “their crazy,” whatever that may be for each client.
“I enjoy my clients. It’s great to learn what each person wants to do, and to know that I can help them get there. I look at the whole person and identify where there may be deficiencies”.

Other than that, I have 5 kids and an amazing wife. Eileen - Pregnancy/Postpartum Athleticism Coach
Eileen Middleton resides in Valley View, Ohio with her husband and two children. At the age of eight, Eileen started running track and cross country. She competed at the college level for Division II school Tiffin University, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. After college she competed in several half marathons trying to find that same feeling track and cross country brought into her life. In 2012 she found it again when she dropped in for a CrossFit class. CrossFit forever changed her life. She learned how to strengthen her entire body with weights and cardio workouts rather than just her legs for running. In 2019 she became a CF-L1 Coach at Towpath Fitness. After the birth of her first child she realized the dire need for coaching during the pregnancy and postpartum chapters in a woman’s life. In 2019 she completed her certification in Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism from Brianna Battles and has been coaching pregnant and postpartum athletes ever since.
Jeff - Running Specialist
Jeff Fisher began his running career in 1980 with 8th grade track and hasn’t stopped. He went on to run track and cross country in both high school AND college (BGSU ‘87) and surprised no one when he went on to work in a variety running specialty settings. After opening his own running specialty store in 2011, he was introduced to “natural running.” From there, Cleveland Running Company became a proud member of the Natural Running Store Network, developed by Dr. Mark Cucuzzella, author of Run for Your Life: How to Run, Walk, and Move Without Pain or Injury and Achieve a Sense of Well-Being and Joy. Fisher’s partnership with Cucuzella ignited his passion for running mechanics and form. Over the years he has worked both one-on-one with individuals and taught classes on how to make running not hurt.
Marissa - Exercise Physiologist
I have my Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and am a certified Exercise Physiologist. My love for exercise and guiding others through their health and wellness journey has led me to work in a variety of fitness settings, ranging from a commercial gym to a more clinical exercise environment. It is a great pleasure of mine to work with any and all types of clients to be the support when needed! When I am not in the gym training others, I am there training myself! I love to powerlift and am grateful to hold the Ohio state record for bench pressing in my weight class. Outside of fitness, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, and arts/crafts.
“A lot of people want a shortcut. I find the best shortcut is the long way, which is basically two words: work hard.”
